Animal Welfare

At Crescent Foods, we take animal welfare very seriously. We are not just in the chicken business; we are also in the business of ensuring that the chickens are treated right at all times.

Crescent birds are raised in roomy barns on local farms with plenty of sunshine and fresh air. As they can move freely, they develop muscle with superior fiber that results in much better flavor as opposed to chickens raised in confined, dark cages.

Crescent birds only get rich, nutritious grains and a guaranteed 100% vegetarian diet. We also make sure that the birds are not given any added hormones or antibiotics in an effort to provide you with the healthiest and cleanest meat for your family.

Our trained employees strictly follow industry guidelines to ensure that the birds are treated humanely and are raised in the most natural way. Our process not only adheres to animal welfare guidelines, but consistently exceeds the expectations of third party auditors.

We carefully consider every aspect such as changing temperature conditions, space to roam, hygienic feeding conditions and efficiency in processing.

Animal welfare is so important to Crescent Foods that we ensure our chickens are humanely raised and adhere to all Islamic requirements – from farm to fork.

As a family owned business for over 17 years, we love to feed families and to serve them. Giving back to the community is very important to us and our way of showing our gratitude to our customers.

Every year we allocate thousands of dollars for various sponsorship opportunities throughout the nation. We are able to provide both monetary support as well as providing the chicken for your event.
